Air Conditioning · 4 July 2022
Air conditioners today are much more affordable than before, but they are still a product you do not buy every day. To make the right choice, you need complete information about the difference between both types.
An inverter air conditioner adjusts its compressor speed continuously to hold the set temperature, which tends to use less power and keep the room more even. A non-inverter (fixed-speed) unit switches the compressor on and off to reach the set temperature, which can mean bigger swings in temperature and slightly higher running costs.
For homes and businesses that run cooling often, an inverter unit is usually the better long-term choice for comfort and energy use.
